Absolutely breathtaking. Sitting in the mission and thinking about all the people who have travelled through is just amazing. The murals are incredible!

Despite beautiful scenery, visiting this church was a very disturbing experience. This church was previously an Indian boarding school where decades of abuse were endured by thousands of Native Americans, yet there was no information to be found about this anywhere in this establishment. It was incredibly disheartening.
Beautiful historic location to visit if you're in the area. Grounds are well-kept with out buildings that can be viewed as well. As the church entrance has a large staircase to gain access, I am not sure if there is disabled / handicapped accessibility. Well worth your visit and although they ask for a donation this is a free historical landmark. There was plenty of parking and although it's a bit off the main freeway the drive to this location was easy and quite beautiful.
